Is there a free trial for LincNotes?
Yes. There is a 14 days free trial of LincNotes for the Desktop version with limited features.

Is it possible to configure LincNotes with MS CRM Online?
No. LincNotes is not tested with MSCRM online which is based on windows live authentication.
Is it possible to configure LincNotes with a Hosted MS CRM?
Yes. LincNotes can be configured with hosted MS CRM using both windows and form authentication (IFD).
What are the system prerequisites for the solution to run smoothly?
LincNotes for the Desktop Version
LincNotes will work on Windows XP/Vista, Windows 7. The main prerequisite is Lotus Notes Desktop client 8.0/8.5 and .NET framework 2.0. In case the .Net Framework is not installed, the LincNotes installer will install the same.
LincNotes for iNotes (Web Version of Lotus Notes)
Lotus Domino Server 8.0/8.5 running on Windows Server 2000/2003/2008.
The users can access it using any browser that supports iNotes.
Domino Connector
Components need to install on both CRM and Domino Server to perform the Domino connector operation seamlessly
- CRM Server
- Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0
- Microsoft Dynamics CRM E-mail Router
- Domino server
- Domino server 8.0/8.5 with Webserver has to be installed and configured.
- Domino Administrator 8.0/8.5 has to be installed and configured.
- Web Access for mail box should be enabled.
How much of disk space will it occupy?
The space requirements below is Excluding the installation of the .NET Framework 2.0
LincNotes for Desktop : 28 MB approximately
LincNotes for iNotes : 36 MB approximately
Domino Connector : 5MB approximately in the Domino Server
3 MB approximately on the Microsoft CRM Server
LICENSE
Do I have to renew the license annually?
Yes. The LincNotes license should be renewed every year
Do I get product key after purchase?
Yes. You will receive product key and license file after purchase.
Do I have to activate the product?
Yes. After installation, the product needs to be activated. All features will be enabled only after activating the product.
Do I need internet connection to activate the product?
No. Not necessary. LincNotes can be activated both offline and online. But we suggest doing it online.
How can I extend the license after a period of 1 year?
The License can be extended by requesting for an extension key which will be provided after renewal of the license.
Can I use the same product key to install LincNotes in more than one machine?
No. The LincNotes Product can be used and activated from only from a single system. Once it is activated in a system, the product key cannot be used on other systems.
After uninstalling LincNotes from a system, can I install it on another system using same product key?
Yes. This can be done only after deactivating the license from the system before uninstalling LincNotes.

What are the support options available? Is there an additional cost for support?
Currently email support is provided at no additional cost. You can write to
support@lincnotes.com. We will also be launching LIVE online support very shortly through our website.
What is the response time for an enquiry?
Your enquiry will be replied within 24 hours on working days.
What are your working days and timings?
We work from Monday to Friday 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM IST excluding holidays. Enquiries got after office hours will be replied on the next working day.
If I have an issue in the LincNotes software, how long will you take to resolve the issue?
The issue will be resolved based on its complexity. The time to resolve a normal issue will be within 2 working days. If not resolved, you will be notified of the same.
